Terms of Service

Search Portfolio provides portfolio analytics for websites, built from the Google Search Console data of the Google accounts you choose to connect. It organizes that data into dashboards, categories, opportunities, reports and alerts. The Service reads Search Console data with read-only access and never changes anything in Search Console.

• You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service, and at least 16 years old.
• Provide accurate account information and keep access to your email account secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at gpmediacontact@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may only connect Google accounts and Search Console properties that you are authorized to access. By connecting an account you allow us to read its Search Console data as described in the Privacy Policy, for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

You can disconnect a Google account at any time in Settings → Google Connections or from your Google Account, or disconnect every Google account by deleting your Search Console data in Settings → Data & Privacy.

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully, or to infringe anyone’s rights;
• attempt to access accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass its security or plan limits;
• interfere with or overload the Service, including through automated scraping or excessive requests;
• resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission;
• reverse engineer the Service, except where the law expressly allows it.

• The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly in advance, at the prices shown on the pricing page, plus any applicable taxes. The pricing page also says whether paid plans can currently be bought; until they can, every account uses Free.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can change plans at any time from Settings → Billing and cancel in Manage billing (Stripe’s billing portal). An upgrade is prorated and charged right away; a downgrade leaves a credit on your next invoice. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
• Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If you believe you were charged in error, contact gpmediacontact@gmail.com.
• If you downgrade below the number of properties you monitor, your data is kept and you choose which properties to keep monitoring.
• We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of your plan.

The Service depends on data reported by Google. Search Console data may be delayed (Google typically finalizes it two to three days after the fact), sampled, filtered for privacy, or incomplete. For example, Search Console omits some anonymized queries from query-level reports.

Google may change or interrupt its APIs, which can affect the Service. We work to present the data accurately but cannot guarantee that it is complete or error-free.

Statuses, opportunities, priorities, strategy and reports are generated by rules applied to your data. They describe patterns that may be worth reviewing; they do not establish causes and are not a guarantee of rankings, traffic, revenue or any other result. You are responsible for the decisions you make using the Service.

Search Portfolio is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Google and Google Search Console are trademarks of Google LLC. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s own terms.

You keep all rights to your data. You grant us a limited permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We own the Service, including its software, design and content. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

We continually improve the Service and may add, change or remove features. We aim for the Service to be reliable but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we make a change that materially reduces the functionality of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy (cancel a renewing paid subscription in Manage billing first).

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will give notice first. After termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, traffic or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

We will update the date at the top of this page when these Terms change. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
